Deck Hand

Part-time position aboard a 90-foot high-end yacht, chartering to small groups locally, including weekends to Catalina.  Seeking person with professional appearance and attitude. Previous experience aboard large yacht preferred.  Duties include operation of safety systems, line handling, tender launching, windlass operation, watch standing, cleaning, serving guests. USCG certified vessel, pre-employment drug testing required.  Excellent pay & tips, respectful work environment.

Steward

Part-time position aboard a 90-foot high-end yacht, chartering to small groups locally, including weekend to Catalina.  Seeking person with professional appearance and attitude.  Must have experience in high-level service to guests.  Duties include meal and drink service, stateroom make up, assisting a cook, basic deck work and cleaning.  USCG certified vessel, pre-employment drug testing required.  Excellent pay & tips, respectful work environment.

USCG Radar and Basic Safety Training Instructor

500 Ton License?  Join our Faculty! Southern California’s premier public boating and seamanship program seeks instructors for a variety of courses including Radar Observer Endorsement and recertifications. Candidate should have teaching experience and be familiar with USCG Radar and Designated Examiner requirements.  Excellent pay.

Marine Weather Instructor

We are looking for an energetic and experienced instructor to teach an introductory, basic and practical course in marine weather. Eligible candidates have a background in meterology, oceanography, along with significant boating and seamanship experience.

Sailing and Powerboat Instructor(s)

We’re looking for sailors and powerboaters who enjoy people and sharing what they know with others.  Formal teacing experience is desired, but not required.  However, a passion for sailing or powerboating is a must!  We operate one of the nation’s most comprehensive boating schools, teaching aboard sail and poweboats from 14 to 92 feet.  We offer competitive hourly wages and a flexible schedule.
