The School of Sailing & Seamanship offers sailing classes for everyone and every skill level, whether you are new to sailing or have been sailing for years.  Beginning students typically start in Lido 14 dinghies and progress to 30’ Shields. For students who prefer a more stable platform and small group instruction our Learn to Sail on a Harbor 20 class is a great way to start sailing.

Located on beautiful Newport Harbor, our facility provides a great place for new sailors to learn. As your skills advance you can enjoy ocean sailing and offshore cruises to Catalina and the Channel Islands. A thorough curriculum for each class is taught in a fun and safe environment with clearly stated goals for each level.
